Installing and Using ES File Explorer in FireStick Tutorial and Steps
This explains how to install and use the ES File Explorer in FireStick. After many inquiries from our users, here is a guide on how to install and use the ES File Explorer in FireStick.
In this guide, you will learn about various aspects of ES File Explorer that are important to a FireStick user. It’s a freemium file manager app available from the Amazon Store and downloadable on FireStick, FireTV Cube, Fire Stick 4K, and other Fire TV devices.
ES File Explorer is an incredibly popular file manager app for the Android platform. This multi-utility tool can be used for storage management, sideloading apps on FireStick (premium subscription required), connecting to cloud drives, and more.
I think ES File Explorer is a must-have FireStick and must have if you want to better manage your device.
Update: Sideloading is now part of the Premium version of the ES File Explorer app ($ 9.99 per month). It is no longer available for free.

What is ES File Explorer?
As I said, ES File Explorer is a file manager application that also doubles as a great page loading utility for FireStick.
ES File Explorer is available from the Amazon Store. I have the installation instructions later in this guide.
This app allows you to load third party MOTs with web urls from the site. However, to sideload apps you need a premium plan, which is $ 9.99 per month.
You can also connect your FireStick to a computer via ES File Explorer to load MOTs from the site and even transfer files back and forth. Again, I have step-by-step instructions on how to sideload apps using this app
Benefits of ES File Explorer for FireStick Users
ES File Explorer offers numerous tools. However, there are many features that most FireStick users will likely never use. That is why I prioritize and emphasize the benefits that you will get earlier. If you need help with a specific utility that is not mentioned in this guide, please let us know using the comments below.
These are the main advantages of ES File Explorer for FireStick users:
– Sideloading third-party apps through a direct connection (Premium subscription required) – Sideloading third-party apps through a computer – Clean up FireStick storage by deleting unnecessary files such as unused MOTs: transferring files between FireStick and computer : Connect to cloud services like Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox, etc.

– Enter the name of the ES File Explorer app
– ES Explorer will appear in the search results when you type the first few letters

How to load apps with ES Explorer using direct links from the page
ES File Explorer is one of the most effective sideloading tools for FireStick that I have ever used. All you need to do is create a direct link to point out the MOT you want to download.
Note: Sideload is no longer free with ES File Explorer. It’s now only available with a Premium subscription ($ 9.99 per month). If you don’t have a Premium plan, you can use the Downloader app to download third-party apps on FireStick from the site.
Important!!! ES File Explorer can only download MOTs from the links that point directly to the APK location on the web. When you have a link to a webpage, use the downloader app to download apps from the page.
In this demonstration I am using the Cinema HD app. Here are the steps:

Governments and ISPs around the world monitor their users’ online activities. Serious problems can arise when streaming copyrighted content on your Fire TV Stick. Your IP is currently visible to everyone. I highly recommend getting a good FireStick VPN and hiding your identity so your movie viewing experience doesn’t go bad.
I use ExpressVPN It’s the fastest, most secure VPN in the industry. It’s very easy to install on any device including the Amazon Fire TV Stick. It also comes with a 30 day money back guarantee. If you don’t like the service, always ask for a refund. ExpressVPN also has a special deal where you can Get 3 months free and save 49% on the annual plan.

How to transfer files with ES Explorer or download MOTs from your computer to your FireStick
Connect to cloud drives (Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox, etc.)
The ability to connect to your cloud drives is one of the most exciting features of File Explorer. With cloud drive connectivity, you can access pictures, videos, and even TÜV files stored in the cloud.
This is a great way to access your files without storing them in your limited FireStick storage
When you’ve synced the cloud drive with your computer, copy the TUV files to the drive and open them in FireStick via ES Explorer.
In other words, U Sideload apps on FireStick using your cloud drive
ES File Explorer supports all major cloud services including Google Drive (Gdrive), OneDrive, DropBox, Box, SugarSync, S3, MediaFire, Yandex and Baidu NetDisk
Note: Log in to multiple cloud stations. For example, you use Gdrive and OneDrive together. You also sign in with two different accounts for the same drive
To connect to your cloud drive, do the following:
– Open the ES Explorer
– Click Cloud storage right or click Network> Cloud Drive in the left menu
– To use Google Drive, click Sign in to Google Drive button
If you have any other supported cloud drive account, click Sign in with a different cloud drive
– Select the cloud drive you want to use (e.g. OneDrive).
– Follow the instructions on the screen to sign in
– Go back to the main ES Explorer window and click Cloud storage right or click Network> Cloud Drive in the left menu
– You will see the symbols for all of your registered cloud drives. To add another cloud drive, click the plus (+) sign.
– You can now access all the folders on your cloud drive
Use ES Explorer to clean up the FireStick storage
Memory management is another important aspect of the ES File Explorer app, especially since FireStick has limited memory.
You can easily delete all unwanted and unnecessary files. For example, you delete the TÜV files after installing third-party apps. Once the app is installed, APK files become redundant
Remember that this has to be done manually. Here are the steps:
Run 1- ES Explorer
2- Click on Local> Home (2.) in the left menu or click where it says Internal memory above
3- FireStick folders will be shown on the right. Open the folder that contains the files you want to delete (for example, download the folder).
4- Select the file that you want to delete (e.g. a TÜV file).
Note: DO NOT CLICK on the selected file
5- Now leave the Select button disabled on your FireStick remote (the circular button) until the check mark appears in the lower right corner of the file
6- Navigate to the bottom menu of ES Explorer and click Remove
7- Turn off moving to the trash
