Take a photo of the text and insert it directly into the Notes application

  • The latest feature also works directly in the word processor as a Notes application.
  • Tap on the screen and select the icon in the pop-up resembling three lines of text in a rectangular box. That’s the Live Talk icon.
  • It will take a camera window up on the bottom half of the screen. Indicate in text and the software will automatically recognize it.
  • Apple software will display the text you want to insert in the app window.
  • Click the blue “Insert” button when the software selects the correct text.

Check text directly from iPhone camera

  • You can also scan text directly from iPhone’s Camera app.
  • Refer to the camera in words and if the software recognizes the text, it will display a three-line text of the text in the lower right of the viewer, or the top-right in the landscape.
  • Click button. It will turn yellow and increase up window dedicated to the text in the photo.
  • You can select this text and copy-paste it to any document.
