Next you will need to create a command prompt that will hold the actual command used to launch the application. Right-click on the New Note button, then select New Button from the menu.

Give this button the name “command” in lowercase.

To complete this step you will need a full path to the application you want to launch. You can use Shift + Right-click to get Copy as an Method menu item to find this quickly. Note: of course, for Notepad you will not need the full method, but this is just an example.

Now click on “command” on the left, and then double click on the (Change) button on the right to edit the string value.

Paste the full path to the task you received from the “Copy as Method” step above, or you can add it to the full path itself if you wish.

And right-clicking on the desktop will pop up a new menu item… physically, using this menu item should launch Note.

You can add as many applications to the table location menu as you like, just repeat the steps again with a new menu item name.
