Using Google Apps:

  • Open the Google app on your iPhone or iPad and click your profile icon in the top right corner.
  • In the pop-upup, select Settings, then General.
  • On the General page, tap Our Settings.
  • If you are on an iPhone, on the next page click the Circle button next to Show obvious results to turn off Safe Search. Tap the Circle button beside Hide explicit results to turn on SafeSearch.
  • Click Save at the bottom of the page.

In a web browser:

  • Go to the Google homepage and log in to your account.

  • Select Settings in the pop-up menu.
  • Under SafeSearch commands, tap Circle button next to Show obvious results to turn off Safe Search. To turn on SafeSearch, tap Circle button next to the obvious results.
  • Scroll to the bottom of the screen and hit Save.
