USB method

For this method to work you will use external USB. This should be USB 3.0 with at least 8 GB free.

  • First, download the Data Remix OS from here or browse to their official website.
  • Connect the USB cable to it laptop, make sure you back up anything in it because we will format it, right-click on USB and select format.
  • And set the System File type to FAT32. Then, find the boot menu button by going to google and searching for “ here is the boot menu button “.
  • Back to the folder where you downloaded the program image and USB installer, remove the zip file using WinRAR or any other program, once it comes out you will see an ISO file, open the USB installer and click on the browser, select the ISO file. and USB just delete the content and click OK.
  • Leave the process to finish for a few minutes then click Reboot Now.
  • During booting click on the button menu of the boot menu, which was previously searched by Google, and after accessing the boot menu, use your keyboard to select USB as the correct Boot device, just turn the program on, you will see blue screen with two options Visitor Mode and Resident Mode. In short, Reset Mode will store all the data you download using Remix OS, all the applications you installed and what else. Hosting mode will delete all your user data when that time is up.
  • Choose whatever suits you and click on it, the first boot may take a while but once it is done you will see the Remix OS icon and you will perform the initial process.

Two Boot methods

We need to create a small partition to install the Remix machine. I will use an application called Mini-Tool Partition Wizard. You can download from here, after your download, install the application and log in, enter any partition that has some free space (16GB or more), click Sharing in the menu on the left and click the slider to set the new one. partition to 16GB, click OK, then click Apply in the upper left corner and reboot if necessary. When you restart you will see the new partition that will be used in My Computer.

Next, you will need to decide whether your BIOS mode is Legacy or UEFI, go to your start menu and search for “run”, type in msinfo32 and then click on Summary Settings then find the BIOS Mode option. You will see either UEFI or Legacy, consider which is because we will need it later.

Now download OS Remix from here (depending on your BIOS type), Android installer from here for Legacy mode and here for UEFI mode, Android ISO from here and software 7zip from here.

Install the 7zip program and use it to extract the ISO file of Remix OS, run the Android .exe file installer and it will ask you to select Android Image, Target Drive and Data Database. Select Android ISO as Image (not Remix OS) and new partition as Target driver and 8GB as Data size then click Install. Wait for it to install in a couple of minutes and click OK and open the partition.

On the Partition Access program then delete the system.sfs file and go back to the folder where you removed the Remix OS ISO file, copy the kernel, system.img, initrd.img and ramdisk.img and paste them into the Android OS folder (on the partition) , while sending will ask you to Replace or Skip, select to Replace.

Now download this file and move it to your Desktop, right-click on it and click Properties and follow these instructions closely.

In the search, type the menu into cmd and act as administrator. You will see a command prompt where you will need to enter the following in order.

Mountvol B: / s

Click Click Next

B: Press Enter then

Cd efi Android

Click Click Next

Copy “Mode of grub.cfg” grub.cfg Mode should be

C: Users USERNAME Desktop

Then press Enter. It will ask you yes, no or cancel the type in YES and then press, when you are ready to restart your computer.
