When working with multiple images, copying them all to the same size can be a hassle. Maybe you have a level of 30 pictures and they all need the same watermark. Either way, editing them all at the same time can save you a lot of time. All three platforms have native tools for making basic adjustments, but there is no native way to edit more than one image at a time. That means we have to use third-party solutions.

For example, suppose you have too many photos that are too dark, colorless, completely blurred, in color cast, or have other common defects. Suppose you have several photos that you want to apply a special effect to. Instead of applying a correction or effect to each photo, you can select multiple photos and apply them all.

Select multiple photos

Open the Photos app and browse your photos as thumbnails in the normal way. If there are two, three or four photos next to each other you want to edit, click the first one to select it, then hold down the Shift button and click the last. This selects them all.

If the photos are not close to each other, press the first one, hold down the command key and press the second, third, fourth and more. Sometimes the command + press adds to the selection and they are indicated by a blue border.
