Step 1

Right-click on the main image and select Edit with Paint 3D. Wait a few minutes as Paint 3D creates a new project. Our project will be about bringing together two Hollywood actors, Javier Bardem and Jeffrey Dean Morgan.

Step 2

Click the canvas icon (it opens with Brushes selected by default). Once this is done, the canvas size can be manipulated. What we want to achieve is to create more space for our second image.

Step 3

Click any of the edges or corners of our image and drag to resize the canvas. In this way we create more space to capture another image. Don’t worry about too much canvas space. We can always cut it later on.

Let’s add a second picture now. Click Menu in the upper left corner and select Insert. Select your second image and click Open. Draw your second image to the newly created canvas extension.

Step 5

Draw a second image to the extra canvas space. It can be as accurate as we do (that’s completely up to you though).

Left-click (or double-click) and highlight an area on one side of the image you want to merge with first. In our case, we will highlight the right side of Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s face. (As shown in the picture above)

Step 6

Now drag the selected area in the second image. Superimpose it on the corresponding area in the main image. Reposition and align as appropriate for the desired effect.

Step 7

The last and final The step is to trim the excess canvas space. Let’s do (or correct what we did) in Step 3. Draw the corners of the canvas to highlight the original edges of the original image.
