Lo Safari

Step 1: With YouTube video open in Safari, right-click on the actual video. However, you will not see the PIP option on this menu. Instead, you have to right-click somewhere else on the video to present it up second pop -up menu, as shown above, while the first one is still visible on the screen. On a MacBook, press and hold the control key while pressing the touch key. Do it again to access the second menu.

Step 2: Select Click Image into the Image menu listed on the pop-upup menu. Unlike the YouTube Miniplayer option found on the video embedding tool, the video should appear in a separate window in small size outside the Safari browser. You can open any app, desktop, or browser tab and the videos will continue to play. However, you must keep the parent tab open and another PIP window will close.

Step 3: To reset the window, simply move the mouse cursor over it, click and hold the mouse button, and then drag the mouse. Release button to finish installing the window. On a MacBook, tap one finger on the touch button then tap another finger to move the window. Move both fingers to move the window.

Step 4: To convert the video back to your YouTube page in Safari, either tap or tap on X button or PIP button next to Play / Relax inside the PIP window.

Use Google Chrome

Step 1: With YouTube video open in Google Chrome, right-click on the actual video. However, you will not see the PIP option on this menu. Instead, you have to right-click somewhere else on the video to present it up second pop -up menu, as shown above, while the first one is still visible on the screen. On a MacBook, press and hold the control key while pressing the touch key. Do it again to access the second menu.

Step 2: Select Image in the Image listed on the second menu. As with the PIP option in Safari, the video should appear in a separate window in a small size outside the Google Chrome browser. You can open any app, program, or new tab, just don’t close the video’s parent tab.
